The decorative panels on which mussels are glued are realized through intensive collaboration with mussel fishers that are active at the Waddenzee. The most beautiful mussels are selected, coarsely ground, mixed with potato starch, glued and pressed. This way, HuisVeendam puts a remarkable wastestream in the spotlight.
